Salt can do more damage than just raising blood pressure

A recent study published in Gastric Cancer reveals a concerning link between adding salt to food and an increased risk of stomach cancer. Researchers analyzed data from UK Biobank participants, finding that those who frequently added salt to their meals had a higher incidence of gastric cancer over a decade-long observation period.
