Stanford researchers identified a two-step immune process causing rare myocarditis after mRNA COVID-19 vaccines, primarily in young males. This involves macrophages releasing CXCL10, which summons T cells to produce IFN-gamma, leading to heart inflammation. Natural soy compound genistein showed promise in mitigating this inflammatory response.
